SplineEQ FREE by Photosounder is a linear phase equalizer with a unique, spline-based filter design. This free version provides up to 4 bands, ideal for creating and adjusting the intensity of frequencies without affecting the phase of sound. It offers better sound quality than common minimum phase equalizers and avoids aliasing artifacts. The software allows for simple curve modification functions and includes a frequency analyser for a more intuitive display of frequency intensities. Users will appreciate the smooth and fluid graphics, as well as the infinite dB to +60 dB gain range for precise control. The software also supports smooth transitions, adjustable resolution, latency and CPU usage, and offers good performance compared to other linear phase equalizers. SplineEQ FREE supports all sampling rates and is available on both Windows and Mac in VST (2.4) and AU format, in 32 and 64 bits. All input, output, and processing are done in 64-bit floating point format and in stereo. However, please note that macOS 10.15 Catalina and macOS 11 are not supported.
