Classic 1950s-style slapback is what Slappy from Denise Audio produces, using hysteresis saturation that imitates a reel-to-reel tape machine, the same saturation found in the Bad Tape plugins. Its short list of parameters keeps things simple, and it is designed to run with very little CPU.
