Prisma

Prisma by Unplug Red is a free multiband distortion plugin, available for Windows and Linux in 64-bit VST and VST3 formats. It sports a unique and engaging graphical user interface featuring multicolored, blinking cartoon-like eyeballs for controls. The plugin is divided into four bands: Low, Low Mid, High Mid, and High, each having Cross and Gain controls and space for four modules. Prisma comes with 16 modules to choose from, including Soft/Hard Clip, Heavy, Fold, Bit Crush, Sample Divide, Pan, and more. This design allows for advanced tone shaping, with common applications including applying subtle, harsh distortion on a narrow band, or distorting higher frequencies in bass recordings without compromising the low end. Prisma comes in two versions: a free version that includes a non-intrusive banner, and a premium version priced at $40. With its modular design and variety of modules, Prisma can produce a wide range of distortion effects and intricate tones in the hands of the right user.
