Marauder is a dynamic distortion designed for versatility and control. Its unique system is built around two gain stages that shape the character of the distortion. The signal passes through a preamp stage before being directed into two Voltage-Controlled Amplifiers (VCAs). A feedback-style compressor governs the envelope, deciding the signal's distribution between the gain stages. Marauder is especially effective on electronic sources such as synths and pads. Its numerous controls allow for fine-tuning of the effect, with the standout feature being the Mix knob. This function enables you to balance the dry and wet signal according to your preference. However, Marauder is exclusively compatible with 32-bit VST plugin hosts on Windows.
