JMG Sound combines saturation, re-synthesis, delay networks and spectral phase offsets to build the 3D effect in Expanse 3D. Its width stage keeps mono compatibility and can even make stereo out of a mono source, narrowing in the sub range and widening toward the highs, while a height stage adds generated harmonics at the low and high ends.
