Klanghelm's DC1A boils compression down to an input and an output knob, with a sound close to the PUNCH mode in DC8C. It still offers negative (over) compression, parallel compression and independent left and right processing, and a DEEP switch brings in a high pass filter that cuts down pumping on bass heavy material.
