BasiQ

BasiQ, a free 3-band equalizer plugin from Kuassa, is designed with photorealistic graphics and a smooth, natural-sounding response modelled after the classic Baxandall Equalizer. It provides simple controls for shaping your source material, allowing for the addition of air, shimmer, or extra oomph to the low end as needed. This straightforward equalizer is suitable for both mixing and mastering, acting as a sweetening device or providing a transparent tilt to your mixes rather than surgical frequency correction. BasiQ is ideally paired on the master channel with the Kratos Maximizer, another plugin from Kuassa. Key features include simple tone control, preset management with 12 slots, mono and stereo applicability, support for up to 96 kHz Sample Rate, and a compact, user-friendly interface. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, or later (32/64-bit), Mac OS 10.5 or later (32/64-bit), and VST or AU host software.
