Daniel Jimenez
Daniel Jimenez is a music production coach who graduated from IAVQ (Quito Institute Visual Arts) as a Music producer. He has developed his own music project related to hiphop, soul and r&b, and has produced and mixed for many independent artists in a variety of genres including rock, alternative rock, post punk and pop.
Daniel's teaching style and lesson structure focuses on diagnosing the student, understanding their current knowledge and what areas need to be reviewed in order to reach their goals. Lessons are both practical and theoretical, and Daniel provides exercises to refine the skills learned in class through multitracks and established parameters.
Daniel's lessons cover a range of topics to help students reach their goals as music producers. Students will learn how to use various studio tools such as compressors, limiters, gates, equalizers, and midi controllers. Students will also learn how to create balanced mixes, and get step-by-step instruction on how to create an exceptional music production. Additionally, Daniel will provide exercises through multitracks and established parameters to help refine the skills learned in class. The ultimate goal of the lessons is to equip students with the tools and knowledge they need to create their own music productions.
Daniel Jimenez offers music production coaching sessions at an hourly rate of $25 per class, or a package rate of $100 per month for one class per week. For two classes per week, a package rate of $120 per month is offered. For students needing specific tutorials or feedback, a rate of $20 per session is available.
Luca Vargiu
Luca Vargiu is a multi-talented artist with a strong background in music production, electronic music composition and performing. He studied music production in Berlin and electronic music composition at the music conservatory in Sardinia. Additionally, he is a guitarist with an independent post rock band, having toured Italy and released two LPs.
Luca has also taught sound design with Ableton Live in a private music production school in Sardinia. His teaching style and lesson structure are tailored to each student's unique knowledge and skill level. In sound design, he focuses on the fundamentals of sound and how sound synthesis is created, exploring the various types of synthesis available. He also works with Ableton's native plug-ins, such as Analog and Operator, to help students create sounds like kick, bass, and pads, and to understand the capabilities of each synthesizer.

Luca Vargiu is from Sardinia, an island off the coast of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea. He lives between Sardinia and Bologna, a city in the Italian mainland. Luca speaks both Italian and English fluently, although he is not a native speaker. During his studies in Berlin, he took all of his classes in English, so he is able to provide lessons in either language. He is more detailed when teaching in Italian.
